Submissions for the 2007 Ohio Health Policy Research Awards Now Being Accepted
The
Health Policy Institute of Ohio is now accepting submissions from
faculty, students, and non-academic practitioners for the 2007 Health
Policy Institute of Ohio Awards for Applied Health Policy Research. The
awards honor outstanding applied policy research in Ohio.
Article
submissions are encouraged from a broad scope of health policy
subdisciplines such as health care access, health care administration,
community health, health education, public health, health promotion,
environmental health, behavioral health, mental health, applied
epidemiology, and allied health. The awards scoring process will
prioritize health topics that emphasize community and population-based
policy recommendations.
The award amounts for 2007 are set as follows:
$5,000 for university faculty with a $2,000 departmental award for the winning faculty category article;
$2,000 for university faculty with a $500 departmental award for the second place faculty category article;
$1,000 to a student for the best student submission; and
$2,000 to a non-academic practitioner for the best practitioner submission.
The
deadline for submission to the 2007 Health Policy Institute of Ohio
Awards for Applied Health Policy Research is October 26, 2007. Articles
