Ohio Medicaid provides healthcare coverage for about 3.6 million Ohioans. Federal and state spending on the program accounts for about 39% of the state budget. In this webinar, HPIO shared information from our latest publication, Ohio Medicaid Basics 2023. This publication is updated every two years and provides an overview of Ohio’s Medicaid program including eligibility, covered services, delivery systems, financing and spending. Our guest speakers provided an update on the redetermination process in Ohio and discussed how Medicaid can be leveraged to address social drivers of health and health-related social needs.
